Lump to Laughter-Angel Fund

The Angel Fund provides financial assistance to women in true immediate need, while undergoing active treatment of Breast or Ovarian Cancer in Southeastern NC. 

Assistance is for necessary household expenses or child care related expenses like rent/mortgage, car payment, utility bills, gas or grocery gift cards, day care or child extracurricular activities.

North Carolina Breast & Cervical Cancer Control Program

NC BCCCP

The NC BCCCP helps all eligible women in North Carolina. To be eligible, you must be uninsured, without Medicare Part B or Medicaid, between the ages of 40-64 for breast screening services and 21-64 for cervical screening services, and have a household income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level.

Breast cancer financial education and assistance

Cancer Care

Cancer Care helps all of those in the US who are eligible. To be eligible you must be in active treatment. To apply, you can call ((800)-813-HOPE (4673)) to talk to a cancer care social worker. If you are eligible, they will mail/email you a barcode, and they will request documentation to verify your income. You will be asked to fill out the application with the help of your oncologist. Family Reach delivers financial education, financial planning, resource navigation, and emergency relief funds to patients and caregivers facing a cancer diagnosis so no family has to choose between their health and their home.

The Assistance Fund (TAF) is an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs by providing financial assistance for their copayments, coinsurance, deductibles and other health-related expenses.
