Going Beyond the Pink’s REACH Survivor’s Symposium brings together breast cancer survivors & caregivers (co-survivors) from the Southeastern U.S. interested in learning how they can move forward in their healing and recovery, build resiliency and restore their health and vitality. 

  • The Empowered Survivor - hone health-related skills & knowledge to become your best self-advocate

  • Mindset & Mental Health - learn the benefits of resiliency, gratitude, and counseling to your survivorship & get hands on experience

  • Healing Arts - learn about Music & Art Therapy benefits for patients & survivors

  • Core Health Focus - discuss nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and so much more with leading experts in their fields

  • Hands-on Learning Experiences- so you can put the learning into practice right away

  • Self Care Experiences - learn about and enjoy relaxing self-care techniques

  • Build Connections - grow your network of survivor’s by sharing experiences with others who’ve been through breast cancer, too!

REACH Survivor’s Symposium will be held March 29th, 2025 at Madeline Suite UNCW: 5151 Suite Service Loop Wilmington, NC 28403 from 8am - 5pm ET. Tickets are $99 and includes registration, meals, activities & ongoing access to the REACH Education Portal. Scholarships are widely available.

What to Expect:

When you R.E.A.C.H., here’s what you get:

A full day symposium packed with health & wellness sessions tailored to the needs and experiences of breast cancer patients and survivors. We'll focus on nutrition, sleep, physical activity, resilience, mindset, and so much more. You'll even get to participate in a group cancer coaching session. 

After the morning sessions, enjoy lunch and a keynote speaker. Then, embark on a journey of healing through our experiential sessions where you'll get to select 3 self-care activities, like massage, sound bath, essential oils, reiki, mini-facials, healing arts, guided meditation, and more.

In addition to your R.E.A.C.H. Survivor's Symposium ticket, you'll also receive:

  • Access to our REACH Education Portal where you'll find symposium content including special offers from our sponsors, download-ables, speaker bios and contact information, and special discounts on products and upcoming events.

  • Breakfast and lunch during the symposium

9:30-10:30 - Keynote Speaker - The Impact of Relationships on Survivorship - Sexual Intimacy After Cancer

10:40-11:40 Panel Presentation - Your Relationship with Home - Creating a Healing Environment

11:45-12:45 - Lunch

12:45-1:15 - Warmup Mindful Movement - Qigong

1:15-2:15 - Presentation - Nourish Your Relationship with Food - Healthy Food Choices Before, During & After Treatment

2:15-2:30 - Break

2:30-4:25 - Experiential Learning Rotations - 35 minute sessions (choose 3 from: Essential Oils, Healing Touch Energy Work, Massage Therapy, Scar Therapy, Focus & Manifestation, & Drumming)

4:30-4:45 - Conclusion
