GBTP Launches Junior Board Program

As evidence of their commitment to the local community, Going Beyond the Pink has launched a Junior Board of Directors initiative that engages high school students in the real work being accomplished in the public sector. "We're looking to support the emerging leaders in our area and give students an opportunity to learn leadership skills, gain valuable experience, and give back to their community" says Kara Kenan, founder of the organzation. Kenan is also a college English Instructor and is excited to work with students in this capacity.
