Kenan tapped for WILMA Leadership Institute

Kara Kenan – co-founder and executive director of Going Beyond the Pink – was recently accepted to the WILMA Leadership Institute. Kenan was selected from a competitive field of applicants to participate in the Class of 2019. The program will run from January to September. The program includes topics such as Thinking Strategically, Selling Skills & Techniques, Public Speaking, Managing Conflict and Navigating Difficult Conversations, Motivating Teams, and more. WILMA Magazine and Greater Wilmington Business will officially announce the 2019 class members along with their titles and organizations in coming weeks. The Leadership Institute is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, whose mission is to help develop more women leaders in Wilmington-area businesses, nonprofits, government bodies and boards of directors.
